GP Bluestone completed an environmentally focused tree-plot installation for the City of Melbourne, combining recycled materials, stormwater performance and urban tree support in a high-profile public setting.

GP Bluestone was engaged by the City of Melbourne to deliver the Porous Lane Tree-Plot Installation near Melbourne Zoo. In collaboration with Porous Lane, we installed 14 tree surrounds using 380 recycled tyres. This innovative and sustainable solution improves stormwater filtration, supports urban tree health, and helps divert tyre waste from landfill—highlighting our commitment to environmentally conscious construction and circular economy practices.
